Two languages, one team
Each group is led by two educators: one speaks French to the children, the other English. They do not translate — each stays in her language, all day.
This is the “one person, one language” method. Children associate the language with the person rather than the moment, and within a few months they switch without thinking.
What if my child speaks only one language?
That is true of most children who join us. No prior knowledge is required, at any age.
What we do differently
Hours that follow yours
Opening at 6:30 a.m. is not trivial: it requires an extra staff rotation. We do it because nurses, cooks and transit workers do not keep office hours.
Workshops, not directed activities
In the afternoon, four workshops run at once. Children choose, and may switch. We watch what they choose — that is where their interests show.
Written communication every day
Meals, naps, mood, incidents: everything is recorded and reaches you the same evening. You never find out three days later.
